Miss Arkansas USA & Teen USA prelims are on Saturday with finals on Sunday at 8pm CST. Both shows will be webcast at www.pageantvision.com.
Numbers have dropped in Arkansas but whilst both divisions are tiny in terms of quantity, there are some really amazing girls competing and this is going to be a tough competition. The 14 Miss contestants are the smallest group since 2009 (13) and the 14 Teens are the lowest since I started keeping track in 2008 - the nearest was 18 in 2011 & 2018.

The 2019 winners will succeed 2018 titleholders Lauren Weaver of Greenwood and Mackenzie Hinderberger of Fayetteville.
In the Miss pageant last year's first runner-up Brejamin Perkins and fourth runner-up Savanna Spradlin are both returning. Two-time Teen runner-up and 2018 Miss semi-finalist Kailey Hula is also competing again. Returning Miss & Teen semi-finalists are Ciara Hibdon, DeIvory Howard, Ashton Williams, and Haley Goodrich.
Miss Arkansas 2016 Savannah Skidmore - who placed first runner-up that year and succeeded Savvy Shields as Miss Arkansas when Savvy won Miss America - is competing in her first USA pageant. Bailey Moses is another former Miss Arkansas contestant who will be competing in MUO for the first time - she was first runner-up at Miss Arkansas 2014 & 2015 and third runner-up in 2016 & 2017.
