The top fifteen were: Athenna Crosby (California), Emily Hutchison (Delaware), Bentley Wright (Georgia), Olivia Pura (Illinois), Ellie Picone (Louisiana), Dallas Ezard (Missouri), Olivia Turk (Ohio), Makenzie Falcon (South Dakota), Savannah Chrisley (Tennessee) and Tammy Vujanovic (Vermont).
Erin Snow (Alabama) won Miss Photogenic and Congeniality went to Rhode Island's Malia Cruz.
More trivia:
- South Dakota placed top fifteen at both Miss Teen USA and Miss USA for the first time ever! This was SD's first Teen placement since 1989 and only their third ever. This was the longest placement drought for any state.
- Alabama is the most successful state this year with a top five placement at Miss USA and third runner-up at Miss Teen USA, as well as Peyton winning Miss Congeniality and Erin winning Photogenic. Alabama's last top five placement was in 1992. This was their second Teen Photogenic award in three years.
- North Carolina came so close to their first Miss Teen USA title yet again. They have now placed 1st or 2nd runner-up five times since 2006, in addition to 1RU in 1987.
- South Carolina is on a six-year placement streak, including winning in 2014, placing 1RU in 2013 and 2RU this year.
- Nevada placed for the first time since 2009. This was their first top five placement since 2004.
- Alabama, California, Georgia, Missouri, Ohio, South Carolina and South Dakota placed at both Miss Teen USA and Miss USA.
- Missouri placed back-to-back for the first time since 2000-1. Dallas' predecessor Christina, also a semi-finalist last year, will be representing MO at Miss America's Outstanding Teen in a few days! The last time they placed in both pageants, Sydnee was the Teen titleholder.
- Tennessee is on a four-year streak.
- Delaware has now placed at Miss Teen USA in 2014, Miss USA 2015 and Miss Teen USA 2016! This was DE's fourth teen placement.
- Vermont also placed for only the fourth time ever, only a year after Alex Marek scored their first placement since Charlotte Lopez won in 1993. This is their first back to back placement!
- Rhode Island won their first Congeniality award.
