Congratulations to Miss Michigan USA 2019 Alyse Madej and Miss Michigan Teen USA 2019 Alexis Lubecki!
Both are very experienced, with similar placement histories. Alyse was a semi-finalist in 2013 & 2016, second runner-up in 2017 and first runner-up in 2018. Alexis was a semi-finalist in 2016 and second runner-up in 2017 & 2018.
Alyse is the fifth consecutive MIchigan winner who had competed at least twice prior to winning the title. Past Michigan state pageant results can be seen here. All five of the most recent winners had been a runner-up in a previous year. Alexis is only the fourth winner in the past 15 years who had been a runner-up previously.

The Miss Michigan USA first runner-up was Victoria Davis who was also a semi-finalist in 2016. Victoria was also a Miss non-finalist in 2014 and semi-finalist in Miss Michigan Teen USA 2013. Second runner-up went to Emily Stevenson, non-finalist in 2016 & 2018 (side note - I absolute love seeing past non-finalists make the cut for the first time then progress to the top five!). Third runner-up was Elyse Sholtis, a semi-finalist at Miss TN USA 2017, and former Miss Michigan Teen USA 2016 Unjaneé Wells was fourth runner-up in her first Miss pageant.

2018 semi-finalist Rebecca Larsen placed first runner-up in Teen this year, and last year's third runner-up Keri Martin moved up one spot and finished second runner-up. Newcomer Erica Rodgers placed third runner-up and fourth runner-up went to last year's first runner-up Alexis Fagan-Williams. Alexis L, Keri and Alexis F had all competed together in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
