Taylor Fondie was Miss Minnesota USA 2020

A native of Ham Lake, Taylor Fondie was crowned Miss Minnesota USA on 1 December 2019 and represented Minnesota at the Miss USA 2020 pageant in Memphis, Tennessee.  She was a Minnesota Vikings cheerleader for three years and appeared on the Superbowl LII halftime show dancing with Justin Timberlake and on the TV show American Ninja Warriors.

2020 bio:

Taylor Fondie is 22 years old and currently finishing up her last semester of college at Bethel University majoring in Broadcast Journalism. She aspires to become a sports reporter and social media manager. Taylor is a former NFL cheerleader of three years with the Minnesota Vikings. She received the award as “Best Overall Ambassador” voted by her coaches and teammates. She has worked along side the media at events like 3M PGA Golf Open, the NCAA Final Four basketball tournament and assisting sports reporter Erin Andrews at a Minnesota Vikings game with FOX. Taylor was apart of the Superbowl LII halftime show dancing with Justin Timberlake and on the TV show American Ninja Warriors. Taylor loves being involved with the community and has done over 50+ charity events throughout her college years.

There are many charities that are close to Taylor’s heart one in particular that she wants to focus on throughout her year is the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Taylor grew up helping take care of her grandma who was diagnosed with MS for most of her life. She remembers helping feed her grandma during dinner time and raising money with her family for the MS Society. After her grandma passed away Taylor and her family annually participate in the MS Muckfest, getting down and dirty for a good cause in honor of her grandmother. She will continue on supporting and advocating for the MS Society. Taylor loves being active and helping others. She finds joy by doing good for others and hopes to leave a special memory with everyone she meets.

Being Miss Minnesota USA 2020 has come full circle. Taylor remembers growing up her dad would turn Miss USA on the TV just for her. Her dad knew how much the women on that stage inspired her and she wanted to be like them one day. Taylor loves to motivate others. She strives to radiant a positive and inspiring light to others. No matter her role or who she, she wants to be able to connect with anyone, making them feel special and confident about themselves. Taylor wants to be known for her heart.
