Jane Axhoj has recently completed her junior year at Marvin Ridge High School in Waxhaw. Jane loves music and has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She has been on the Miller Street Dance Academy Competition Team since the age of 6 where she is training in tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop as well as performing 2 solos each year. Dance is one of her passions and a way of expressing herself. She attended the Rockettes Summer Intensive in 2012 and 2014 and loved it so much she plans to audition for the Rockettes when she is 18 years old. As an advocate for health and fitness, Jane is a certified Zumba instructor and will be teaching at the local YMCA.

Jane is in the top 10% of her high school class where she is currently taking 3 AP courses and is a member of the Beta Club and French National Honor Society. She plans to attend college and major in International Business. Jane attended the LEAP Leadership and Training Conference at UCLA in the summer of 2014 and found it to be extremely rewarding. She looks forward to attending the conference again next summer.

Jane loves meeting people and serving the community. She has helped collect children’s toys for Toys for Tots for the past 4 years, participated in the Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure, and along with her dance team has helped raise over $50,000 for the ACFI Liberian Orphanage.
