Erica is the daughter of David and Malinda Goldsmith of Mineral Wells. She was a reporter for the WVU News, and was a member of the Student Government, and a participant in the American Cancer Society Date Auction. She is also involved with Walk Your Paws, Colleges Against Cancer, and the Mountaineer Maniacs. Erica plans on pursuing a career as an entertainment reporter. She describes herself as spontaneous, creative, and vivacious. Some of her hobbies include shopping, traveling, baking, and watching movies. Erica is most proud of receiving the Promise Scholarship because it gave her the opportunity to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree debt-free.
