Adrielle was raised on a cattle farm in the small town of Dover, Arkansas. She attended the University of Arkansas as a National Merit Scholar and a prestigious Honors College Fellow, and is the published author of a bilingual study of Nicaraguan immigration patterns. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi Women’s Fraternity, and was also chosen for the 2005 U of A Football Homecoming Court. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from U of A, with a double-major in Political Science and Latin American Studies, and a double-minor in Spanish and Anthropology. Adrielle is currently a third-year student at the University of Arkansas School of Law, where she serves at President of the Student Bar Association. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Association of Justice, and is on the U of A Traveling Trial Team. Adrielle currently works at the Law Offices of Matthews, Campbell, Rhoads, McClure, Thompson, and Fryauf, where she focuses on family law, immigration, and mediation.
In her free time, Adrielle enjoys hiking and spelunking in the Ozark Mountains, gardening, and playing with her cat Teddy. She is a self-proclaimed “foodie,” and not only cooks Cajun family recipes, but also loves to create recipes of her own, as well as host hors d’ouvres parties for her friends. Adrielle loves to travel, as she has backpacked Southern Europe, toured 15 cities in Australia and New Zealand, and spent many summers in Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Adrielle has been actively involved with Legal Aid of Arkansas, the Northwest Arkansas Sexual Abuse Recovery and Prevention Agency, and Arkansas Children’s Hospital. She is the daughter of Gary and Jennifer Churchill, who currently reside in Dover, Arkansas. She is also a huge Razorbacks fan! Go Hogs!
Adrielle plans to use the title of Miss Arkansas USA 2010 to promote the causes closest to her heart, specifically Child Injury Awareness and Veteran’s Affairs. Due to her own injury as a teenager, Adrielle had to undergo complete spinal reconstructive surgery, and wants to stress to children and teenagers alike the importance of listening to their bodies and recognizing the signs of serious sport and recreational injuries. She looks forward to continuing to work with Arkansas Children’s Hospital on this initiative. Also, as a Congressional Intern in Veteran’s Affairs, Adrielle learned just how much our Veterans have done for our country, and how much of a debt of gratitude we owe them. She looks forward to speaking at area schools, as well as visiting local Veteran’s Hospitals and promoting Veteran Appreciation.
