Miss Virginia USA 2008 (1st runner-up) Maegan & Tori Hall Miss Virginia USA 2007 (1st runner-up) Lauren Barnette & Maegan Miss Virginia Teen USA 2004 (Top 15) Notes Maegan is the first winner since 2003 that was not either a former Miss VA Teen USA or Miss VA (MAO) - but she is also the most experienced winner since at least 2000, having competed six times previously in both Miss VA Teen USA and Miss VA USA (see the Virginia state results). She is one of very few winners across all states and years to have placed first runner-up twice in the years immediately before her win. Another VA USA winner also placed 1RU twice before winning - Kristi Glakas (Miss VA USA 2004) Maegan ties with Lacey Minchw (Miss Louisiana USA) as the most experienced winner crowned this year. She is the first titleholder from northern Virginia since 2004 - and as far as I know the only one from Quantico! Virginia now has not crowned a blonde since Kristel Jenkins in 2001. Questions?
