Stacey is the first Miss titleholder from the greater St Louis area since Shandi Finnessey in 2004 - and she comes from Shandi's hometown of Florissant. Stacey and her Teen titleholder Sierra Drimak are also the first duo to both come from the greater St Louis area since 2004.
Stacey is the first titleholder since Shandi to have placed at Miss MO USA prior to winning - and along with Shandi one of only four since 1998 who placed twice or more before winning (the others were Miss MO 2000 Denette Roderick (1RU 99/T5 96) and Miss MO USA 2002 Melana Scantlin (1RU 01, 2RU 00)). Stacey is the first titleholder since at least 1995 to have placed first runner-up twice consecutively the years prior to winning.
