Anastagia is the first African-American Miss Florida USA since Cloe Cabrera in 1987. She was also the first African-American to be crowned Miss Florida Teen USA.
She is the youngest Miss Florida USA winner since at least 2000.
Anastagia was the first former Miss Teen USA delegate to win a Miss USA 2009 state title, and is the third Miss Teen USA 2004 contestant to win a Miss state title.
She is only the second Miss Florida Teen USA to win the Miss Florida USA title, and the only one of the two to win the title at her first attempt. The other was Cristen Duren (Miss FL Teen USA 97/Miss FL USA 06), who was fourth runner-up at Miss USA 2006.
