Rachel is one of three Minnesotan beauties who will compete at Miss USA 2007: she comes from Thief River Falls, MN but is currently living in Fargo, ND where she is Director of Admissions at Oak Grove Lutheran School.
Rachel graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota with a B.A. in Mass Media Communications and then moved to Fargo. During college, she traveled internationally with Concordia Choir, held an internship with the Department of Health, created a faculty health challenge program, and implemented a local youth health challenge program. She was also an active member of the Omicron Delta Kappa honor society and campus music ministry. Rachel has sung solo at Carnegie Hall, run two marathons, and has had a career in news reporting.
