| ||Courtney Lynne Smits|
Courtney's life is dedicated to supporting Soldiers and their families. She has grown up in a military family, with her dad serving in Special Forces and her mom in Military Intelligence. Once they both retired, Courtney wanted to stay involved with supporting the troops. At 10 years old, she started her own organization, called Queens For Courage, to raise support and awareness for Wounded Warriors and their families who require prosthetics or prosthetic care. Courtney's appreciation for the military combines with her school activities through her involvement in the school Naval Junior ROTC program. Her brother, Trevor, one of her senior leaders in the #1 nationally ranked competitive program, has joined the Army and will train to become an Army Officer upon graduation from High School.
When not involved in NJROTC competitions, she enjoys working on her grandparents' farm, spending time with friends and family, riding horses, and swimming. She is an accomplished model in both print and runway and hopes to be a contender on America's Next Top Model when she reaches 18. She plans to balance a successful modeling career with attendance at the United States Air Force Academy and train to become a C5 Galaxy Pilot.
Courtney lives by her personal quote, "Beauty is fleeting, a crown is but a moment in time, but a smile and a kind word can last a lifetime!" She resides in McDonough, Georgia with her family.
