Taylor was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas. She is a junior at Washburn Rural High School where she is the captain of the DancinŐ Blues dance team. As a two year All-American, she was selected as the Top All-American this past summer at the National Dance Alliance Dance Camp. In addition, she is an accomplished varsity track athlete. Taylor placed 3rd in State this past summer in the 300 Meter Hurdles and was selected as part of the All-City Track Team. She is also a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Young Life and National Honor Society. Outside of school Taylor is an award winning competition studio dancer. Over the past five years Taylor has won over fifty scholarships and awards in dance. Believing in giving back to others Taylor uses her gift in dance to help other young dancers. She teaches at her studio as well as with the Tremaine Apprentice Program. For the past four years Taylor has traveled across the United States to mentor and assist in teaching dance through this program.
Taylor is the youngest child of Cynthia and Bruce Clark. In her free time Taylor enjoys choreographing, art, baking, running, and spending time with family and friends. She loves traveling and visiting new places. She has had the opportunity to travel to many different states; California, Florida, and Colorado, being a few of her favorites.
Taking academics very seriously, Taylor is an honor student and part of the gifted program maintaining a 4.3 GPA. With interests in dancing, modeling, and fashion, Taylor will be searching for collegiate options to combine her variety of interests. After high school, Taylor hopes to attend a college on the West Coast to pursue a career in fashion design and merchandising.
