Brianna is a sophomore at Lutcher High School, located in Lutcher, Louisiana. Born and raised a small town girl, she resides in Paulina, Louisiana with her father, Brent Waguespack. Brianna has one older brother, Ryan Yashack, and is immensely proud of him. She feels privileged to say that her brother has served seven years in the United States Air Force, recently returned from Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom) and continues to be the best big brother a girl could ask for.
Brianna enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cheerleading, “Google-ing,” trips to the beach, and attending as many Louisiana festivals as possible! At LHS, she is a varsity cheerleader and a member of the Gifted and Talented Program. In her community, she is member of The Festival of the Bonfires Committee and is also on the Pageant board.
After graduating from high school, Brianna’s main focus will be on attending and graduating from college and Medical school in hopes of becoming a child psychiatrist. During her reign as Miss Louisiana Teen USA, Brianna plans to do philanthropic work with organizations involving children. “Every child deserves a chance to chase their dreams. I want to help in any way that I can.”
