A junior at Lakeville South High School, Vanessa explains her current school status as, “I’m working on increasing my GPA, which is currently at a 3.9, as well as being very active in co-curricular activities, and dedicating my time to volunteering.”
During her senior year in high school, she will be working on her Bachelors of Science in Culinary Arts so that she can be a chef part-time in college, along with her modeling and acting career. Vanessa wants to attend college on the West coast for her undergraduate studies, where she intends to major in business and psychology. Vanessa then hopes to continue her education by acquiring a law degree or MBA in finance.
At her school, Vanessa is a member of the speech team, debate team, yearbook staff, and also is in DECA. Outside of the classroom, Vanessa is a competitive Latin ballroom dancer, a member of Toastmasters International, and loves to do anything on the lake, such as fishing, or boating. Additionally, Vanessa volunteers at least two times a month at the Science Museum of Minnesota, as well as each week for Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Valley Humane Society.
