Taylor, a resident of Castle Rock, is a 16-year-old sophomore at Douglas County High School. She is an honor roll student, a member of F.B.L.A (Future Business Leaders of America), and a member of the high school debate team.
Taylor supports many charities with her time and talents. Some of her favorite charities include The Children’s Hospital, the D.A.R.E program, The Bully Proof Program, which she created and implemented, Castle Rock Fire Department, St. Francis of Assisi Church, Susan G. Komen Foundation, Colorado Aids Project, Fallen Soldiers Angels Relief Fund, The Ronald McDonald House, Champa House, and many more.
However, the project that is closest to her heart is one that she created herself. It is called Courage Through Confidence. The purpose of the program is to empower girls through self confidence. Through the program, Taylor intends to mentor young teenaged girls throughout Colorado, empowering them through her ten step confidence building program.
In Taylor’s free time she enjoys cuddling with her golden retriever, Abbie. She also enjoys baking her famous chocolate chip cookies, shopping, running and hanging out with her family and friends.
