Breanna is a 16 year old sophomore at Fort Zumwalt West High School in O’Fallon, Missouri. She is involved in the A Plus program, and is a member of P.P.I., which stand for Positive Peer Influence. She has received the Presidential Physical Fitness Award. She was named All American Cheerleader for the 2005 - 2006 school year. She has a D.A.R.E. Certificate of Recognition and a Do the Right Thing achievement award. Breanna is a fall and winter Cheerleader for the one and only FZW Jags! She loves to pump up the crowd and spell “Jaguars” while doing seven backhand springs in a row.
In her free time Breanna loves to work on her tumbling at the Spirit Elite Gym. She has been tumbling for a little under a year and works very hard on learning skills. When Breanna is not flipping on a gym floor you will find her speaking to the elementary schools in her area. She has been talking to the students involved in the D.A.R.E. program for three years now about the effects of drugs and alcohol, and the importance of staying “Drug Free.”
Breanna loves to travel. She has been to 12 States, three cruises, and she has been to Disney World nine times. She can tell you all the great spots to see the Disney Charters. One of her favorite places was Jamaica where she got to climb Dunn’s River Falls.
Breanna is the daughter of Lonnie and Charlie Ledbetter. Breanna lost her father Tom to cancer is 1994. Breanna has one sister, Theresa, 13, and two step sisters Dawn and Melissa.
Breanna plans to use the title of Miss Missouri Teen USA 2006 to share the importance of Peer Pressure Education. She feels it is vitality important to empower teens to make right choices, and to stop negative peer pressure.
