Alejandra Gonzalez's parents immigrated to the United States from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, making her a first generation American. Growing up in a household that prioritized education, Alejandra surpassed expectations and obtained her Master's degree in Accounting. Being a proud numbers geek, this 26-year-old shares her passion for education by teaching students about the importance of financial literacy. In addition to numbers, Alejandra uses her love for animals to advocate for various animal causes. Through her life challenges, Alejandra has realized that sometimes things do not always work out as they are planned. Rather, if you are open and willing to walk down a path different than from what you originally expected, sometimes it leads you right where you should be.
