Madeleine Overby is a 21-year-old from from Columbus, Mississippi. Being from a military family she has moved around often, and is currently a nursing student at Troy University in Alabama, where she plans to graduate with her Masters and start a career as a cardiothoracic surgical nurse. Though her main priority is education, she has always been very involved in the arts as both a dancer and singer. Madeleine has appeared on the TV show "America's Most Talented Kids" and is a former NFL cheerleader for the New Orleans Saints. As Miss Mississippi USA, she has enjoyed sharing her love of education through visiting numerous schools in Mississippi and teaching teens the importance of finding their passion and maintaining a focus on academics. Madeleine uses her voice to show all people that regardless of your background, age, or the challenges you've faced, you can do any and everything you set your mind to.
