Allie is the sister of Julianne Chu who was Miss Hawaii USA 2018 & Miss Hawaii Teen USA 2010. She is the first woman to win both the Miss Hawaii and Miss Hawaii USA titles.

Allie is a graduate and Valedictorian of Kalani High School, member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, and Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She is an aspiring dermatologist who enjoys spreading awareness on sun safety using her hashtag #SafeintheSunHawaii.

Raised in a family that values the arts and education Allison has lived the last 9 years successfully pursuing the best of both worlds. Since being scouted by an international modeling agency at the age of 17 she has pursued a professional modeling and acting career living between Honolulu, New York and Los Angeles; all while finishing her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She holds membership in the SAG- AFTRA and Actor’s Equity unions and has appeared in hit TV shows on FX, CBS, and the Style Network. She has appeared in New York Fashion Week and multiple national modeling campaigns including a billboard at the Staples Center. Music is one of her passions.

Allison is a voting member of the Grammy Awards and has been classically trained to sing opera since the age of five. One of the highlights of her musical career was performing at the 75th anniversary Commemoration Ceremony of the 442nd Battalion in France. Allison believes in the importance of perpetuating and preserving the Hawaiian culture. She has studied ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi at UH Manoa, sung Hawaiian music for 11 years with the Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus, is a professional hula dancer, and has volunteered with the Protect Kahoʻolawe Organization.
