We have a busy two weeks ahead of us with three state pageants this weekend and five the next - one of which is Miss Tennessee USA & Teen USA (for the full list of states head to the State Pageant Calendar)! Miss
In Miss, first runner-up Kaileigh Bullard is back, but she has quite a curse to overcome if she wants to win: no returning first runner-up has won in Tennessee since 2005! The only other returning runner-up from 2015 is Megan Hale who placed 2RU. Kaileigh isn't the only past 1RU competing: Melissa Gee, first runner-up in Montana in 2014, now lives in TN and is competing there for the first time. There are two former TN Teen runners-up competing in Miss for the first time: Hope Stephens, first runner-up in 2014 and Katerina Daniele, fourth runner-up in 2013. First-time USA competitor Miss Tennessee 2011 Erin Hatley (top ten at Miss America) will be hoping to join TN's contingent of former Miss America delegates, which include consecutive titleholders from 2002 to 2004, host Allison Alderson, Beth Hood and Stephanie Culberson. Megan Miller is also new to MUO but has placed in the top five at Miss Louisiana (MAO) and appeared on American Idol.
In addition to Melissa and Megan, there are two more who have competed in other states: Yesenia Quinones, semi-finalist in Georgia in 2013 and Rachel Stacy, inexplicably a non-finalist in Florida last year (deserved top five based on photos I've seen!) and a semi-finalist in Virginia in 2013 and 2014.

Teen
Elise Stein, fourth runner-up last year, is the only returning contestant from last year's top five. Hope Parker, third runner-up in 2014 and a semi-finalist in 2015 is competing again as well. Other returning semi-finalists are Allie Corzine and Corbin Hinson.
