Miss Minnesota USA & Teen USA 2016, the final Future Productions crowning of the 2016 state pageant season, will be held tomorrow from 4pm, webcast at www.futureproductions.net/webcast. Miss contestants are posted here and Teen here. Miss numbers are pretty similar to recent years but unfortunately Teen has dropped significantly, from a high of 60+ last year (44 in 2014) to only 29 this year.

Miss
- Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2007 Vanessa VonBehren and Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2011 Hannah Corbett are both back after competing last year. Vanessa was a semi-finalist in 2015 and fourth runner-up in 2014, while Hannah placed third runner-up last year.
- Two other runners-up from last year are competing: Bridget Jacobs (2RU) and Katie Stout (4RU).
- Returning semi-finalists are Emily Fredericks and Mary Petersen.
- Jennifer Monson, third runner-up at Miss MN Teen USA 2011 with Hannah Corbett and current Miss MN USA Jessica Scheu is competing for Miss Minnesota USA for the first time. After competing in 2011 she moved to Nebraska where she was Teen first runner-up in 2013 and Miss first runner-up in 2014.
- Emma Doran was a non-finalist twice in Miss NY Teen USA from 2014-2015.
Teen
- Dasia Mestad, first runner-up last year and in 2013, is competing again, as is third runner-up Sofia Primozich. I adored both last year and am thrilled they are back. Both would make an excellent winner.
- 2014 second runner-up and 2015 semi-finalist Anna Korger is also back.
