Three of last year's runners-up - who were all also in the top five in 2014 - are back this year. They are Rachel Smith lookalike Rachel Morris, 1st runner-up last year & 4th RU in 2014, Miss Kansas Teen USA 2008 Jessie Colonna, 3RU last year and 2RU in 2014 and 2015 2RU and 2014 1RU Victoria Wiggins who will be competing for the seventh time (across three Vanbros states: Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas).
2014 Teen runner-up Tobie Roberts, is competing in Miss for the second time after making the semi-finals last year. Other returning semi-finalists are Kandice Johnson, Lindsay Cunningham, Meghan Saravanja and Miss Kansas Teen USA 2009 Alexis Rewalt. There is also a second 2009 Teen titleholder in the pageant this year: Miss CO Teen USA 2009 Taylor Schettler, a graduate of the University of Kansas, is competing in Miss for the first time.
Earlier in the year Miss CO Teen USA 2013 first runner-up Lexy Kadey was a semi-finalist in the Missouri pageant and now it's the turn of another of that year's top five to compete in a Vanbros pageant: second runner-up & Photogenic winner Racya Doyle is competing in Kansas for the first time. Two former CO girls in the pageant!
In Teen, last year's third runner-up Madison Moore (2RU in 2014) is competing again, as is fourth runner-up Lily Anderson. 2014 first runner-up Riley Alston is back after not competing last year.
