Miss Georgia USA and Miss Georgia Teen USA 2019 contestant commentary

Update: Congratulations to Miss Georgia USA 2019 Katerina Rozmajzl and Miss Georgia Teen USA 2019 Isabella Bloedorn!

The first state to crown new titleholders this weekend will be Georgia, with the Miss Georgia Teen USA finals at 3pm EST on Saturday and Miss Georgia USA finals at 8pm.  

Contestant photos can be found here.  The number of contestants in each division is on the low end of normal for Georgia.

The new titleholders have big heels to fill as the outgoing titleholders Marianny Egurrola and Savannah Miles both made the top 10 at Miss USA and Miss Teen USA this year!

The 2019 winners will succeed 2018 titleholders Marianny Egurrola of Buford and Savannah Miles of Lawrenceville.

​As with Colorado a few weeks ago, the Georgia pageant has attracted a number of contestants who have previously competed in other states.  Most notable are two former Teen USA titleholders, Miss Alabama Teen USA 2013 Lorin Holcombe (who was 3RU at Miss Alabama USA last year) and Miss New Hampshire Teen USA 2014 Mikaela Seamans who will be competing in her first Miss pageant; and Miss District of Columbia 2016 Cierra Jackson.

Returning runners-up from last year are first runner-up Safia Moussa, third runner-up Gianna Zitello and fourth runner-up Katerina Rozmajzl.  Katerina was also third runner-up at Miss GA Teen USA 2016; Arianna Blaize, fourth runner-up that year, is also returning and will be competing in her first Miss pageant.

Other past runners-up from other states are Victoria Brown, fourth runner-up at Miss Indiana USA 2017 and Sarah Joyner, third runner-up at Miss New Mexico USA 2017.   

Returning contestants from the 2018 top 15  Autumn Adams, Lena Hardy, Alix Troupe, Shanria Price, and four-time semi-finalist Brittany Deaville.  Other returning Teen semi-finalists competing in Miss this year are Olivia Wamack, and McCall Allen.

The last couple of contestants from other states are seven-time contestant Rachel Stacy who has competed in Florida, Virginia and Tennessee, and another former Florida contestant Emily McLeod.
